Most of the time, we are able to define and explain reliability engineering to others. It is also possible that reliability practitioners may discuss job cards, oil analysis, vibration analysis, ultrasound, root cause, oil analysis, vibration analysis, and motor current analysis in addition to other topics. If we are so knowledgeable, why do most implementations of it fail at least 50% of the time? The reason for this is that everyone ignores certain fundamental rules of dependability. The objective is to raise awareness and support one another in correctly establishing the program.

About the Presenter:
Benjamin Masinge from South Africa: a father of four and married to a super wife., has over 16 years of industry experience in engineering and has worked in a variety of engineering disciplines as a maintenance manager, group reliability manager, principal reliability manager, and Condition Monitoring specialist.

He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, an ISO level 2 certificate in vibration analysis, and several other globally
acknowledged credentials. His job experience includes positions at SABMILLER, L’Oreal Manufacturing, SKF, BMG, Yellotec, and
Barloworld Ingrain. He has a strong interest in mechanical engineering and well knowledgeable about maintenance governance and asset
management.
