The big question is management willing to spend the money to make the machinery reliable. I found over my years as a maintenance fitter most companies will only repair machinery when it fails. It’s frustrating trying to explain to most companies I have worked at that if they do preventative maintenance then it will reduce there downtime therefore increase there production.
