Episode 27: Thomas Boehm

Doug Plucknette | Contributing Host, RELIABILITY CONNECT

Welcome to Episode 27 of The Leadership Connection! On today’s episode…

The Leadership Connection Host, Doug Plucknette, interviews reliability leader Thomas Boehm in Episode 27 of this series. Thom H. Boehm is a knitting machine technician at Stanfield’s Ltd., a textile mill in rural Nova Scotia, Canada.

More about Thom…

He has worked at Stanfield’s for the last 20 years, and before that was an English teacher in Japan. At Stanfield’s, although down in old textile lingo as a knitter/fixer, he does whatever needs to be done to keep the room functioning as well as possible, and this includes repairing and maintaining a host of different styles of circular knitting machines.

In the future he hopes to write a book  about the textile mill where he works and his experiences that he has had there. The last few years he has realized that he has a passion for writing, and has been working on honing his skill as a writer in preparation for some day tackling a book.

Thom’s top accomplishments in life include a family that he loves, a house and yard with plants and trees that he enjoys watching grow, and a house full of animals that keep everyone feeling loved and occupied on dark and dreary days.

If you would like to get in contact with him, you can connect with him via LinkedIn or drop him a line at thomasboehm@eastlink.ca
