Global industrial production is rapidly transforming. The supply chain disruptions that started during the pandemic have created a highly dynamic manufacturing environment. This, in turn, has made asset availability for production a more important operations target than ever before. Conducting an asset criticality assessment (ACA) can:

• Help organizations identify the most essential assets in the plant, according to a range of production, safety, regulatory and other criteria.
• Help plant owners and managers focus their maintenance and reliability activity so they can trust that their equipment will operate                 reliably.
• Provide owners, managers, and engineers with the data they need to ensure that problems are detected before a catastrophic or costly failure.

And that’s just scratching the surface. This presentation will provide a better understanding of the benefits of asset criticality analysis and assessments, exploring key tools that allow you to perform an ACA and explaining how to include these assessments as part of your core work.

Frederic Baudart is Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Accruent, focusing on the company’s industrial & healthcare CMMS software product lines. He has 25+ years of experience in the field of service engineering, Maintenance & Reliability, and X-ray services. He has held various sales, marketing, services management positions including multiple leadership roles in Services with Fluke and GE organizations. Baudart is often a presenter at many trade shows and conferences and has written many technical articles and case studies for global trade publications. He is a Thermal/Infrared Thermography Level II certified and holds his Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Baudart holds technical degrees in electrical and instrumentation engineering from a technical college in Belgium.
