About the Presenters:
Christian Benk received his Master of Engineering specializing in electoral and informational engineering from Konstanz University of Applied Science. He then spent 16 years working in predictive maintenance and vibration monitoring in various roles, including application engineering and product management. In that time, he designed solutions that solve critical issues and provide value to customers. For the past three years, Christian has been the Software Commercial Platform Leader with B&K Vibro and focuses on delivering new technology that simplifies Condition Monitoring for customers worldwide.
Alireza is a Ph.D. holder in photonics engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, with expertise in machine learning (ML) and data-intensive computation. He has authored over 50 articles in science and technology, including multiple publications in Nature. Throughout his career, Alireza has actively contributed to open-source codes and has been working in ML and data science for the past 8 years. Prior to joining B&K Vibro as a senior data scientist, he worked in the healthcare sector, developing machine learning features to assist diabetes patients in adopting healthier diets. In his current role at B&K Vibro, he leads AI and ML initiatives, striving to apply ML to vibration condition monitoring for efficient and accurate asset health assessment. To deepen his understanding of the domain, he obtained CAT II and CAT III vibration certifications. Apart from his work at B&K Vibro, Alireza has founded a startup in his free time, driven by his passion for diversity and equality, aiming to leverage ML to eliminate biases during the recruitment process.
